This vessel carries the quiet breath of fire and smoke, its pale surface marked with darkened veins that wander like rivers over stone. The form is modest yet refined, a slender body tapering to a darkened base, as though dusk had settled there.
Each crackle is a story, born of sudden heat and sudden stillness, a fragile map held in clay. To gaze upon it is to read fire’s handwriting, delicate yet enduring. More than vessel, it is presence—California earth remade into poetry, a singular work of décor signed by the hand of Ann Hurley.
Note: Matches Eduardo Lazo vase also listed. Possibly made at one of Mr. Lazo's Classes.
