Heisey is elegant glass that was made to be sold in jewelry and high end department stores. The Lariat pattern was sold from 1947-1957. It has been fire polished on all the edges and is a strong , scratch resistant glass and is simple and elegant like Mid Century design itself. It was made at the same time period as Depression Glass but it's much heavier and much better quality. I love the edge detail. See less
