Antique Victorian Hand Painted Large Center Punch Bowl Grape Vine Fruit Lover
Back in the Victorian era they would buy Limoges blank porcelain and hand paint them.
This extra large bowl was painted in 1897.
Maybe it was used as a punch bowl. Or as center piece on their grand dining room table.
Painted with various grape clusters still hanging on the vine as you might see walking through a vineyard.
Around the inside rim is a border of golden grapes and vines. A most rich detail.
This bowl is 6" tall x 14" round.
It is marked on the bottom LIMOGES FRANCE and the artists initials and dated Oct. 17, 1897.
