This is a Statton Furniture Private Collection Cherry Block Front Chest in the Centennial finish. Statton furniture was founded in Hagerstown, Maryland in 1926 with a line of bedroom furniture. They quickly grew and became known for their heirloom quality craftsmanship and traditional period reproduction designs. Their attention to detail gained them a partnership with Colonial Williamsburg to collaborate on the preservation and restoration of projects around Virginia. This three drawer chest looks like it came out of a museum. Measuring 39" wide by 20” deep and 32” high it even comes with the original pamphlet from the collection. The case is solid and sturdy, the three dove tailed drawers all work smoothly and there is very minimal wear at all. This chest would be an excellent addition to any room in your house.
