Store your treasures in style with this vintage "Mary Lu" wood jewelry box, trinket box or treasure box. It was most likely made by McGraw Box Co. of New York but isn't marked. It's skillfully made of solid cedar wood with dove-tailed corners and brass straps and handles on each end. It sits on top of 4 small feet at its base and is in great condition with no cracks or chips to the wood, just normal surface wear for it's age. The top has a lovely curved, classic chest shape.
