From the 1940s, … Read more We fell in love with these Italian Hand-painted Step Down Side Tables the minute we found them. From the 1940s, they feature a Venetian flora and foliage design on the lower shelf. There is a beveled glass for each to protect this part of the table. The glass is not shown on the main picture, but on later photos as you scroll through. The upper shelf has a scroll foliage leaf design at the front and metal accent rail around three sides. The metal is also on the sides under the top shelf. Overall the tables have a saffron yellow ground. The legs are provincial in style and feature painted lines to accent their shape. These are gorgeous.
