It is Rendered in a Miniature Barrel Style Configuration Measuring Overall Approx 11 3/4 inches Tall x 7 1/2 inches Wide - Long. It Would have Been Made to Store Dry Goods - Grains - Flour - Sugar Etc. It is Beautifully and Completely Hand Made Out of Steam Bent Oak with Hand Forged Steel Rivets - Fasteners. The Top - Lid has a Very Unusual Carry Handel that Also has a Slide Style Locking Top Feature. It is in Very Nice Condition with Wonderful Age and Use Acquired Patina - Display Beautifully. It is Strong, Sound & Perfectly Usable if So Desired.
