Set of 3 Kutani ware plates from the Kaga region of Japan - know for its production of fine porcelain with lustrous colours and rich glazes.
Each is carefully hand painted in the Meiji period. Circa 1900. One features Mt. Fuji.
The plates depict rice farming, dancing & celebration and the sea with traditional boats & birds.
Exquisite border with partial mons in black, gold and brick orange/burnt orange.
Condition very good with a few minuscule nicks at rims. Each hallmarked on underside.
