Antique campaign chests are unique and versatile pieces of furniture that originated during the 18th and 19th centuries. Designed for military officers on the move, these chests were crafted with portability, durability, and functionality in mind. The chest of drawers comes in two pieces.
Actually, we do not believe this chest was used for military purposes. We believe the concept was used to get a large chest of drawers into a small house and up the stairs.
