The fine bone china body is adorned with an elegant turquoise border, detailed with mythical creatures and imaginative, meandering flora. The tea set is richly decorated with delicate hand-drawn motifs, set against the crisp white, fine bone china. A truly glorious tea set.
the pattern is based on the re-discovery of ancient Roman mural paintings in excavations at Pompeii and elsewhere caused a sensation, inspiring a style known at the time as ‘Etruscan’.
