This beauty’s design was inspired by like-minded pieces made by Gabriella Crespi, who had a way of creating innovative designs with humble natural materials that combined warmth and sophistication. The handcrafted repeating coiled rattan vine design mixed with a trio of eye-catching center rows of twisted rattan braiding, creates a wide round conical-shape bowl which is capped off with a brass banded rim, gorgeous!

It is a substantially sized centerpiece bowl appropriate for most any décor need, filled with orbs, twigs or spheres (or nothing at all) which will make a chic organic wow statement on any tabletop as a centerpiece bowl. It’s also perfectly-sized to serve as a fruit bowl atop any expansive kitchen island.

This beauty measures 13¾” x 13½” x 6½” W/D/H; interior 13” x 12¾” x 6½” W/D/H weight 1 lb. 3 oz. The bowl was handcrafted from pencil reed rattan in a coiled and twisted braid design; color is naturally aged rattan with golden hues of tan, almond and camel. Rim is capped off by a ¾” wide band of brass. In excellent structural and cosmetic condition with minimal age-appropriate wear; tight coils. The makers label was removed long ago, so maker is unknown. We believe this beauty was imported from the Philippines sometime in the 1980s.
