A fine and large Rose Medallion bowl with a wide flange rim, the interior decorated with alternating figural court scenes and fruit and rose vignettes with birds and butterflies. Very good antique condition with light wear, mainly to the red oxide rim glaze. No chips. No marks. Some typical firing irregularities throughout the body, mainly visible on the outside of the bowl which is enhanced with three floral sprays. Late 19th century.
