Made in America, Hekman Furniture is known for exceptional quality and detail. This writing desk will not disappoint.
The top is inlaid sections of different grains, including some burl, and is banded. There are brass gallery rails on the back corners. The back is finished, which is nice in case one wanted to locate the desk away from a wall.
The front has 2 drawers on the ends with one wider drawer in the middle. The ring pulls are solid brass.
The straight legs end in spade feet
This piece can be styled in so many ways.
Accessories are not included. The caned chair is also available in this shop and is a lovely partner for this desk.

That being said, one of the drawer pulls was missing so all four were replaced. The holes for the pulls were in different positions so you will see a wood plug on the inside of each drawer. This does not, in any way, change function or looks. The brass gallery rails are tight. As stated before, there is very minimal wear on the surface. The middle drawer has ink spots in it as shown. less
