Mrs. Beeton was probably the first woman that wrote and published a book in 1906 about what a Victorian woman needed to know about Household Management.
In England most young brides were given Mrs. Beeton's Household Management book as a wedding present. As a teenager I read my grandmother’s book and even now, I often peruse the pages of her book. I have collected Mrs. Beeton’s books for many years. I adore her prints they decorate my kitchen & dining room and will decorate any house with their uniqueness and beauty.
