Elegant French Art Nouveau figural chandelier with eight lights, each supported by flower-shaped bobeches and surrounded by long, flowing, organic metal leaf forms finished in warm gold tones.
The piece is clearly signed "H. Beau," the signature of French lampmaker Henri-Antoine Beau (1855–1937). Under his leadership, Henri Beau et Cie (active from 1898 to 1911) transitioned from gas to electric lighting, modernizing its offerings and earning significant acclaim. The firm played a key role in the evolution of decorative and functional lighting in France at the turn of the 20th century and was recognized for its participation in world exhibitions and contributions to Paris’s public infrastructure.
A rare and refined piece, perfect for centering above a dining table or in an entryway. Elegant yet relaxed, it works beautifully across a range of interiors including Art Nouveau, mid-century modern, country, farmhouse, and transitional styles.
