This iconic chair was designed by the Italian designer Gio Ponti and released in a Limited edition of 100 pieces by Paolo Pallucco, 1991.

The Gabriella chair or D270 2 was originally designed by Ponti during the 1970s, this seat is a modern interpretation of historical folding chairs that were praised for their mobility and functionality, which was revived and glamorized in the 1960s-1970s design sphere in Europe. These chairs display playfulness with a stylish modern Silhouette and an unexpected proportion with their relative high back support and shallow seating, yet they still manage to achieve comfort as seating.
