Very large 50.5" ornate antique mirror with its original beveled glass. Someone took the liberty of painting this piece long ago, but of course you could paint it any color you desire to fit your decor.
Measures 50.5" x 28.25" x 3.5" deep. The profile of the frame is quite deep with added ornamentation at the corners and sides. The hanging wire is currently placed for hanging in horizontal landscape position such as over a sofa or mantel, but could be shifted to vertical orientation for placement as a dressing mirror or at the end of a hallway. So, it's either a 50" tall mirror, or a 50" wide mirror, depending on where you want to hang it and whether you need height or width for your space. There are some slight cosmetic losses to the edge trim here and there, but nothing detracting from the overall presence of this statement antique mirror. The mirror glass itself has a few darkened streaks in it, just enough so you know it is old, but not interfering with its use as a mirror!
