Revive the glory of the Gilded Age (minus the backstabbing, corsets vs rib removal, and arsenic for skin whitening) at your dinner table.
If your dining area is all gloomy gray with an unobstructed panorama of the kitchen, even better. Spare the electricity and just light with candles. Nothing manufactured today can match the grandeur of these English porcelain dinner plates made by Coalport in that period from the Victorian era to the early 1900s. These plates bear the backstamp or hallmark that Coalport used from 1881 onwards, with the Coalport Crown mark, plus "England" begun around 1891, continuing to around 1920 with a shift to “Made in England.” A great ice-breaker for a diverting dinner conversation, no?
