This is a stunning vintage French Louis XV style gilt bronze mounted Kingwood Revival executive Bureau Plat or flat leather top writing desk with Ormolu mounts, key and working locks. Believed to be from the 1920s-1940s. Elements of Regency style.
Features black leather top, bronze mounts, large writing surface, three drawers, and cabriole legs.
Absolutely stunning, solid, and sturdy, with minor cosmetic imperfections consistent with age. Includes key that works with all locks.
