This 1890 silver trophy cup was awarded for “Best Sporting Puppy” at Rossie Brae in Dundee, Scotland. Featuring engraved script and a hallmarked base, it honors a charming chapter of sporting history. The cup’s tapered silhouette and richly mottled surface were intentionally left with their original patina and tarnish—these timeworn effects can be polished, but their character can never be truly replicated. Maker's mark on bottom.
