a Pair of English silverplate golf trophies dated 1952, awarded for “Pitching & Putting” and “Monthly Medal” at S.G.C. (likely a private golf club). Both cups are tall pint-sized and tapered with stepped footed bases and elegant hand-engraved inscriptions. A charming example of postwar British sporting tradition, with timeless appeal for golf lovers and collectors alike. Beautiful left with patina, but can be polished to a brilliant shine. Marked on underside.
