Lovely and large "Red Aves" 8" Candlesticks.

Pure white English Porcelain decorated with a rust burnt orange pattern which features game birds and floral foliage.

Yellow gold gilt trims and detailing. Marked on the underside "Royal Crown Derby - English Bone China, with Hallmark and XXIX.

Square base if 5.25" wide and 3.25" diameter of round candle base. Center stalk is brass for strength and to protect the porcelain from heat.

Extraordinary quality all around.

In keeping with Aesop's fable, Fox and Crow's Motto is "Beware of False Flattery!" So, with each listing we offer a true confession about the item...my husband grew up in a traditional Southern home where fine English and French porcelains were among the prized possessions.
