Eagle Bay Heirlooms is pleased to offer this very Rare Find a set of three pieces intact dating to the late 19th century of European Origin. These unmarked, unsigned pieces only have the numerals 15 and 18 painted on the bases of the bud vases. The presumption is that these are most likely French, with an outside chance of being possibly Bristol Glass of the UK. Bohemian glass was after 1918 so since there appear to be pre 1900, Czech is unlikely.

The White Opaline (Semi-Opague) glass pieces are decorated in hand-painted floral themes of a very delicate nature around the bases and necks of the vases in green and red dots. The middle sections have bands of pink with floral garlands and elegant gold details and designs. All rims and bases are trimmed in gold. Very rare to find a matching set, thus I am offering this as a group.

The set includes the following:

2 - Slender Footed Bud Vases 7.5" High x 2.25" Base Diameter

1 - Lidded Footed Jar 6.5" high x 3" Wide with a nicely decorated lid.

The bases of the two bud vases have the numbers 15 on one and 18 on the other with smoothed pontils. The base of the jar is possibly an applied foot and thus the base is very smooth with no signs of pontil.

This very rare, romantic set would be a lovely addition to a dresser or vanity.

Condition: Overall excellent condition displaying signs of wear to the gilding. A few very minor marks around the middle of the jar foot and one vase some slight marks inside the top inside opening. Uncertain if these are paint smudges, I was not able to remove them, they are very slight however.
