Each figure stands … Read more Pair of Hollywood Regency, Mid-Century ceramic figurines, hand-painted in green, white, pink, and black with red accents. Each figure stands on a white glazed base with molded detail. One figure holds a fan, while the other is paired with a bird motif at the base. The glaze shows minor wear consistent with age. Although the figures are presented in more of a Chinoiseire or Chinese style rather than traditonal Japanes style, these figures were still most likely made during Post-war Japan as a large portion of figurative ceramics exported to the U.S. in the 1950s–60s were made in Japan.
