An exceptional circa 1870's French Victorian walnut or mahogany bedside nightstand beautifully designed with elaborate brass trim throughout cabinet and a very rare open brass base. Simple applied brass bow garland accent on door. Inlaid wood detailing on front. Cabinet retains the original porcelain insert as shown. Top is fitted with original white milk glass panel that slides securely into brass frame. Single pull-out drawer. Missing one wooden swivel bar on underside.
