A sleek antique English late Regency hall chair with saber legs and an interesting back profile. The oval shaped upper back rest features a grey and blue painted panel with a castle motif in ochre. The plank seat is an attractively figured single mahogany board, highly polished. Good antique condition with signs of age and light use, some dings, good finish. Ca. 1820-30.
