An exquisite restored late 19th centuryFrench Louis XVI style side chair, sourced from Provence, France. The shield-shaped backrest and seat are newly upholstered in a vibrant royal blue floral cotton fabric, clean-finished with single piping along the back and a welt trim band on the seat. The finely hand-carved hardwood frame is finished in a creamy antique white paint with a naturally aged patina and charming distressed details. Gracefully tapered and fluted legs with floral rosettes at the corners, ending in classic toupie feet, complete the elegant silhouette.
