The solid … moreThis iconic cane backed lounge chair has recently undergone a comprehensive restoration process and we love the results. The solid walnut legs and frames have been hand-sanded and ebonized with lacquer paint with only minor nicks remaining which can be seen in the detail photos provided. The caning too shows only minor signs of vintage wear such as small breaks (less than an square inch) in the caning and can be seen in the detail photos provided. The upholstery, redone in a subtle beige polyester knit fabric, is in showroom condition and the cushion has been replaced with new medium density foam for maximum comfort and longevity. This icon of the 1950s is ultra-comfortable, structurally solid and ready for a literal lifetime more of use.
