This headboard is from a set from a neighbor whose parents bought it in the 70’s. We live in the Severin Grossmont Hills neighborhood in Southern California developed by Nels Severin 1958-1964 with homes designed by Edward H. Fickett and other architects and built by Daniel Grady. This headboard has no maker marks but the dressing table (not included) has the VM mark and it and the small dresser (already sold) have the “Made in Denmark” mark with a number on them. Please ask if you’d like to see those marks. Headboard is approximately 59 1/2 inches x 34 5/8 inches x 2 1/2 inches. Width of base is approx. 60 inches side to side. Full Width of legs approximately 4.5 to 4 and 5/8 inches. Width of holes is 7/16 in. Length of holes is approximately 8 1/4 in. Between inner holes approximately 50.5 inches and outer holes approximately 58 inches. Outer edge of inner hole to inner edge of outer hole is approximately 2.5 inches. Some paint transfer on the back of the headboard from being up against the wall, 2 1/2 inch dent near right foot and small irregularity in finish near left foot (see photos).
