This long-case clock is designed by Koloman Moser. The is a part of the dinner set which included the clock, large and small sideboards, a dining table and six chairs. (We also offering for sale a large sideboard, a dining table and four chairs.)
The famous Viennese furniture firm August Ungethüm manufactured such sets between 1902 – 1906. In the version of Ungethüm the inlaid “fishzug” ornament was replaced by flat-carved berry ornament developed by the designer for the magazine Ver Sacrum (IV,1901, p.296).
This object is extremely rare and of museum quality. We were not able to trace any sales of such long-case clock at international auction sales. This piece has an attribution mark,
I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity
