A Fine Antique English Ironstone Tree-in-Well Platter With Gold Greek Key Border
Circa 1840-1860’s
Unknown maker
Impressed crown mark, and a impressed “IK” along with a “B/132 X” on the back.
We could not identify the pattern or maker.
Heavy ironstone, with a tree in the well center. A large sized meat platter.
A simple red/maroon and gold Greek key type edge banding.
Size: 22 3/4” by 18”. 2 1/2” tall. Heavy. Weighs about 20lbs.
Condition: minor wear/loss to the edge banding from age/use. A old chip on the underside foot rim. Various minor utensil marks on the front.
