Vintage, 1960's Willow Woodware ceramic (8 pieces), crafted by Wood & Sons England in Churchill Blue. Stately, rich royal blue and white motif with majestic English pattern on the front. All pieces signed on the back.
Wood & Sons of England designed this pattern in the Churchill Blue color tone over several decades. A well trained eye will notice subtle changes in the pattern, which denote the decade/ year of the porcelain. Very subtle changes in the pattern include the size and sale of the pattern and color tone of the blue shade.
Displayed in an antique Chippendale cabinet in my late Grandmother's Saddle River, NJ estate. Lovely collectible pieces.
