This clock was made around 1750 by Lamy a Paris (not to be confused with a later firm also called Lamy a Paris 1812-1825). It is signed on the movement plate and on the the dial.


The clock features an ornate Boulle style case with gilt bronze detailing throughout. Much of the bronze work retains its original gilding.


There is some writing etched into the pendulum.


The dial is large, with large porcelain numerals



The clock was last serviced in 2018. It ran when recently tested. The chime on the hour hits a bell on top. It has a nice sound



This clock is quite large. It measures about 16.25 x 7.15 x 35 inches
