A stately and elegant decorative jar by Maitland-Smith, handmade in Thailand and finished in a soft celadon crackle glaze. This substantial lidded vessel is inspired by traditional Chinese temple jars, featuring four sculpted lion-head handles and a domed lid topped with a classic foo dog finial.
The finely detailed surface is covered in an intricate craquelure pattern that enhances the timeless aesthetic and adds rich visual texture. Brass accents rim the lid and base for a refined finish.
This piece blends Asian influence with high-end craftsmanship, making it a perfect fit for chinoiserie interiors, grand entryways, or eclectic modern spaces.
