Standing at 11" tall, … Read more A large and colorful pair of 19th century Staffordshire figures depicting Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Standing at 11" tall, the hand-painted figures have great detail and are in excellent condition given their age. There is some minor discoloration to the white glaze at the base of Queen Victoria and one very minor paint chips, but otherwise, they are in remarkable condition given the fact that they date from circa 1870-80. The sword Albert hold is probably not original and is held in place by a piece of wax so it can be easily removed. An impressive pair and beautifully decorated. See less
