This vintage silverplate sugar scuttle is designed in the coal-scuttle form, adapted for refined table service. The vessel shows deeply embossed roses and scrolling borders and rests on a molded pedestal base.
A suspended scoop completes the service presentation associated with mid-century silverplate influenced by Victorian revival styling. Produced by DS Co, it highlights ornamental texture, balanced proportions, and the continuity of traditional tableware rituals across the twentieth century.
