moreThis is a Great Looking Antique American Country Primitive Dry Measure. VERY LARGE SIZE!. Circa Late 19th Century. These were used to Measure Grains, Rice, Beans, Seeds, Flour, Etc. It is Completely Hand Made with Steam Bent Oak Sides and a Pine Bottom. It has 2 Cast Iron Handles Attached. It also has Applied Steel Bands and Bottom Braces adding to its Structure. There is a Makers Name Embossed on the Bottom Interior but is Obscured - I Cannot Make it Out. It is in Very Good All Original Condition - Has Original Surfaces ( No Added or Removed Varnish ). It Displays Very Nicely.
It Measures Inches Tall x 7 3/4 Inches 15 3/4 inches Long ( Including Side handles ) x 14 1/2 inches Wide..

- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.
- Please notify us within 24 hours of purchase if you would like to cancel an order, as prompt cancellation will reduce the likelihood that you will incur return shipping charges.
- Once shipping or pickup has been initiated, the cancellation will be considered a return and you will be responsible for the cost of shipping.
