A luminous 5.5" tall ceramic ginger jar with lid by Fielding’s Crown Devon, Stoke-on-Trent, England. This example from the “Devon Lustre” line features a beautiful petrol iridescent glaze in soft shades of light blue, lavender, and hints of green and pink. The high-gloss luster finish is characteristic of the Art Deco era. Base is stamped “Devon Lustre Fielding’s, Stoke-on-Trent, England.”
In good vintage condition with some surface wear and crazing consistent with age.
