From the French Faïencerie de Clairfontaine, a bi-color overlapping leaf plate, circa 1890.
Glazed in a swirling mix of yellow ochre and shades of green, the mold shows leaves with incised veining terminating in a shaped rim.
Stamped on the verso with the Medaille 1878 Clairfontaine, and the RS Anchor.
8.25 inches in diameter x 1 inch high.
Good condition - a light overall crazing as expected, and the kiln stilt marks on the versos.
