Beate Kuhn is known for her experimental ceramic sculptures. Kuhn's playful double bowl sculpture fuses her complex biomorphic shapes and otherworldly monster figures into a kind of imagined conjoined twin. This deceptively simple form also evokes provocative anthropomorphic pairs and presents them as an accessible, pared down, and amusingly peculiar double bowl vessel.
