Having rich polychrome bronze multicolored enamel ( much like a Russian faberge antique enamel egg ) with integrated porcelain handpainted plaques. Very exquisitely created and always a very valuable object intended for the very affluent of clients in the 19th century as well as members of the royal family around the globe. The finely painted porcelain panels are attributed to Sevres and the bronze gilded ormolu box itself is a higher quality Barbediene style bronze masterwork. Acquired from a New York gold coast Long Island estate with sevres meissen porcelain kpm plaque lusters moser bohemian glass and brocard. See less
