This exquisite pair of antique English brass plaques showcases the profiles of Queen Victoria (5"L x 5.75"H) and Prince Albert (4.5"L x 7"H). Popular during the Victorian era, these commemorative pieces honored the beloved royal couple. Exceptionally rare in their original condition, most surviving examples have been lacquered or painted to slow oxidation. We have carefully polished them back to their original glory; however, they will age naturally over time if a rich patina is desired.
