The hard leather finish of these shades has been painted with what appears to be a henna colored paint. The skins of the shades have hardened and create a beautiful seashell like shape. Inside the shade is an iron form where the original vintage wall socket is located. What’s truly unique about these pieces is that they could be utilized again as a light fixture or they look absolutely beautiful as a table decoration or as a wall hanging just as they are. Such an interesting aged patina to them. They have an almost rustic cowboy feel on one hand and a Moroccan flair on the other. These two shades were taken from the Providence Cigar Bar before it was renovated. Two very unique pieces. See less
