Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. What’s goin’ on… handsome Henredon???? Handsome, INDEED!!! This is a beautiful black lacquered entertainment cabinet or armoire composed of double doors with a large opening and a square cut out in the back, a shelf with a lower open space, three smaller drawers above the double doors, and three larger drawers below all bearing fabulous brass escutcheons with pulls, and it has an original slightly distressed finish. The cabinet stands tall, dark, and handsome (as we mentioned!) upon a wonderful, recessed base… and talk about adequate storage space AND convenient holes & cut outs for cords & electrical access!! If you use it as an entertainment center or cabinet it has the perfect spot to place a television or laptop and plenty of storage for games, movies, books, or even a turntable and some records & vinyl!! Or use it in your bedroom or dressing area and fill it with clothing and accessories. This cabinet has adequate storage for anything from clothing, linens, pillows, and bedding to game components, electronics, and tv’s or monitors…. So, it’s SUPER versatile!!! Plus, it exudes an incredible Modern Campaign and Hollywood Regency presence sure to make a bold statement in whatever room it occupies.

Henredon was founded in 1945 by four Drexel Heritage executives; T. Henry Wilson, Ralph Edwards, Donnell VanOppen, and Sterling Collet. The name Henredon is a combination of their names. These four men were determined to build furniture of custom quality, and their original offering was only three chests. It has since blossomed into hundreds of designs still in keeping with their goal. Through the years they have engaged well-known designers to create their unique and fine furniture. They currently are part of the company Furniture Brands, Inc. but still embracing their long-standing tradition of fine furniture craftsmanship and reputation for timeless elegance.
