A beautifully distressed early 19th century antique French mirror with heavy age-related foxed plate. Can lean against a wall or bookcase or can be hung with the metal hook on back.
Would be lovely in a small powder room or bar area.

- Mirror plate sits tightly in the frame, nothing loose. Original wooden back is intact. There is considerable foxing to the … moreMirror plate sits tightly in the frame, nothing loose. Original wooden back is intact. There is considerable foxing to the mirror (see photos) and very light surface scratch marks, but overall remains in good condition for its age. The wooden frame itself shows lots of patina and age. There was most likely a carving that would have sat on top at some point. I prefer the simplicity of the mirror without. There is so much lovely worn, warm patina with some areas giving way to the red bolle beneath. Please zoom in on all photos.
