Documented to designer Alfredo Barbini, circa 1950s. The lidded jar has a spike top as a handle, decorated with a black glass swirl dusted with gold leaf. The main bowl has a beautiful round shape, with Dalmatian spots decoration throughout. The lid also has the spots. The entire piece is profusely covered in gold leaf throughout. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or coffee table. Use it as a catchall, candy or jewelry dish. Very rare design! Collectors item. Mid-century era. Measures: 7 5/8" tall x 5" across.
