This is a pair of dark orange cast metal Windsor Chairs, dating to the 1980s.
The pair is capable of being used outside as they are composed of cast metal that has been powder-coated.
The Windsor silhouette originated in England around 1720, and was initially designed for outdoor use. The pieces quickly became popular for use in dining rooms, and different iterations were developed. These examples have bow-backs.
We have recently had these redone in a glossy dark orange powder-coat. They are in fantastic condition, but if you wanted to have them redone in another color, we can have them redone for an additional charge.
Each chair measures 17 inches deep, 19.5 inches wide, and 36 inches high. They have seat height of 17.5 inches.
