A petite piece of French elegance, this vintage Limoges trinket box was crafted exclusively for Parisian perfumer Roger & Gallet. The curvaceous form is finished in deep cobalt blue with ornate hand-applied gilded details, including a romantic 18th-century-style courting scene on the lid. Gold scrollwork frames the vignette and adorns the sides, all beautifully offset by the high-gloss porcelain glaze. A collector’s gem and a perfect gift for the lover of French ephemera or vanity table treasures. Excellent vintage condition with bright gold and no chips or cracks. Some light wear to the gilt consistent with age.
A luxurious keepsake originally used to house fine soap or fragrance, this dainty box now makes a charming catchall for rings, pills, or tiny treasures. The underside is marked with the Limoges France seal and “Exclusively for Roger & Gallet Paris.”
