perfect movement condition.
the case has visible signs of age and wear. These can be seen in the centre of the left post, in the centre of the base front and on the handle of the door. Photographed against the light in the attached pictures, these irregularities are clearly visible, but at home in the display case or on the chest of drawers they may hardly be noticeable.
interesting facts:
the "clock that lives on air" uses the "breathing movements" of a gas-filled bellows caused by temperature fluctuations to wind the movement.
the movement of the clock stands out due to its cylindrical box on the back. It contains chloroethyl, a gas that expands particularly strongly between 10 °c and 27 °c, in a bellows-shaped expansion chamber.
a temperature difference of just one degree celsius winds the clock for 48 hours. This interesting winding mechanism is complemented by an exquisite movement of extreme precision with a heavy torsion pendulum (rotating pendulum). This piece has an attribution mark,
