Patina to brass, but can be polished with this special polisher called Wenol, which leaves no verdgree green residue much like other cleaners do... Soft pie toothpaste tube soft cloth rubbing and soft cloth wope away and wash, easy peasy. Murano has a concave polished pontil base bottom as last image indicates. The top finial is more of a kelly green while the body s true forrest green coloration, as each piece is hand done, thus the differentiation in the colorations, was perhaps meant to distinguish from the top and body.No chips, cracks, nor flea bites.
